why i’m in ccwa: Being able to have engaging and interesting conversations as well as meeting different people and being part of a community on campus with a focus on international issues!

Responsibilities: planning CCWA 10’s and helping the president.

why i’m in ccwa: The people and what i’ve learned from them

Fun Fact: I was almost recruited by the lithuanian army

Responsibilities: Managing the finances of the club.

why i’m in ccwa: I think it is important to stay engaged in world affairs as our environment becomes increasingly globalized.

Responsibilities: Facilitating recruitment and retention as well as planning social events

why i’m in CCWA: I love learning more about global politics and talking with people of similar interests. The friends that I’ve made through ccwa have played a defining part of my college experience

Connor Kleinman (Executive Secretary)

Responsibilities: Maintaining the CCWA website and Newsletter to keep everyone up to date on events.

why i’m in CCWA: Having conversations and debates about critical world affairs in a less critical environment within a community that makes campus so much more of a family

Fun fact: I have a substack and a youtube channel for global affairs/politics.

Melody Kwarteng (director of outreach)

Responsibilities: Running the social media pages, reaching out to departments, professors, community members, and local organizations for ccwa partnerships.

why i’m in ccwa: I love that i have the opportunity to learn about world events through a multitude of perspectives and discuss pressing global issues

Responsibilities: responsible for overseeing the editorial board of Alger magazine, a publication for the discussion of international issues.

why i’m in ccwa: I enjoy having a space to discuss and explore international affairs with people who are also interested in it. i’m always learning something new!

in my free time: I enjoy writing, yoga, ballroom dancing, learning languages, and being with friends.
